Marma Therapy
Marma therapy is an important part of Ayurveda that helps to maintain health by cleansing blocked energy.
The word Marma is of Sanskrit origin ‘Mrin Maranae’. The Sanskrit phrase, “mriyatae asmin iti marma” means ‘there is likelihood of death or serious damage to health when these points are inflicted. Hence, these areas are called marma. Marma in Sanskrit also means hidden or secret. By definition, a Marma point is a juncture on the body where two or more types of tissue meet, such as muscles, veins, ligaments, bones or joints. In Marma therapy, a very light stimulation of points on the body is done. It removes blockages from the marma points giving physical and psychological relaxation and strength. This is a powerful process and a therapy that works with these subtle and sensitive energy points to open the energy channels in the body are called srothas.
മർമ്മ തെറാപ്പി
മർമ്മ എന്ന വാക്ക് സംസ്കൃതത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ് 'മൃൺ മരണേ'. സംസ്കൃത പദമായ "മ്രിയതേ അസ്മിൻ ഇതി മർമ്മ" എന്നതിൻ്റെ അർത്ഥം 'ഈ പോയിൻ്റുകൾ വരുത്തുമ്പോൾ മരണമോ ആരോഗ്യത്തിന് ഗുരുതരമായ കേടുപാടുകളോ ഉണ്ടാകാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. അതിനാൽ, ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളെ മർമ്മ എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു. സംസ്കൃതത്തിൽ മർമ എന്നാൽ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതോ രഹസ്യം എന്നോ അർത്ഥമുണ്ട്. നിർവ്വചനം അനുസരിച്ച്, പേശികൾ, സിരകൾ, അസ്ഥിബന്ധങ്ങൾ, എല്ലുകൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സന്ധികൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെ രണ്ടോ അതിലധികമോ തരം ടിഷ്യൂകൾ കൂടിച്ചേരുന്ന ശരീരത്തിലെ ഒരു സന്ധിയാണ് മർമ്മ പോയിൻ്റ്. മർമ്മ തെറാപ്പിയിൽ, ശരീരത്തിലെ പോയിൻ്റുകളുടെ വളരെ നേരിയ ഉത്തേജനം നടത്തുന്നു. ഇത് ശാരീരികവും മാനസികവുമായ വിശ്രമവും ശക്തിയും നൽകുന്ന മർമ്മ പോയിൻ്റുകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള തടസ്സങ്ങൾ നീക്കംചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇത് ശക്തമായ ഒരു പ്രക്രിയയാണ്, ശരീരത്തിലെ ഊർജ്ജ ചാനലുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നതിന് ഈ സൂക്ഷ്മവും സെൻസിറ്റീവുമായ ഊർജ്ജ പോയിൻ്റുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തെറാപ്പിയെ സ്രോതസ് എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു.

We respect the client’s desire to explore Kerala as it is one of the 50 recommended destinations, but we must admit that many clients have partially and moderately lost the benefits of cure programme by frequent outside visits [ frequent = more than 1 outside visit within 5 days].
